Recreational programS
TOP Soccer Recreational Programs for ages 6-12 provide an engaging and fun soccer experience with a weekly skills session and houseleague game designed to learn new skills and excel in a team setting. Players are split into skill and age appropriate groups based on game formats and roster sizes outlined by Ontario Soccer. (ie. 5v5, 7v7, etc). Each group will be led by a professional TOP Soccer coach. Throughout the season groups may be updated to provide appropriate competition for all players.
Sessions are designed in a Game-Activity-Game (G-A-G) Model where players will rotate between 3-4 activities and small-sided games. Activities will primarily involve physical literacy, ball handling, and game-based activities to teach core skills like decision-making, spacing, attacking, defending, etc. To review a helpful video on the benefits of Game-Based Learning, please click here.
The goal of this program is to focus on the Four Corners of Development: Physical, Technical/Tactical, Psychological, and Social-Emotional, which allows each participant to develop skills through engaging activities and appropriate small-sided games throughout the season.

We strongly encourage all players to use the bathroom before arriving at a program as bathrooms are not available at some facilities. Our coaches are NOT permitted to take children to the bathroom at any time. Parents must remain at the field to accompany their children to and from the bathroom.
-
We are happy to offer friend request opportunities so that friends in the same program may play and enjoy the game together. Our first priority is to create balanced groups, and this will supersede all requests where necessary. Requests are STRICTLY a 1:1 pairing opportunity where players involved must reciprocate requests.
